Dr Gangrene's Creature Feature back on the air

Dr Gangrene's Creature Feature is back on the scarewaves! Here's the update I mailed out to folks today...

Join the mad medico and his lovely assistant Nurse Moan-eek as they present a new fright flick every Saturday afternoon at 1pm during September and October.

The doctor is celebrating his 10th season as Nashville's horror host, and this season has added a new feature to the films - FACT-O-RAMA! So be sure to tune in every week - the first film in the new season is the schlocky grade z-movie THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE, which features a living decapitated head, mad scientist, mutated monster in a closet, strippers and more!!


Other movies in the lineup include THE LAST MAN ON EARTH (the first filmed version of I am Legend starring Vincent Price), WHITE ZOMBIE starring Bela Lugosi, Hammer films' THE HOUSE THAT DRIPPED BLOOD starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee, and the horror classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.

Five deadly filming date...

We're planning to shoot the footage for the FIVE DEADLY VENOMS episode next Saturday, January 19th. Seems this year is going to be a busy one for us, production-wise. Got lots of plans for the upcoming season and several projects we've begun work on already. More updates here as they develop. Stay tuned!!

We have our next movie lined up - we'll be hosting the Kung-fu classic Five Deadly Venoms. This film is on Entertainment Weekly's list of Top 50 Cult Movies of all time, coming in at number 11!

It airs Saturday,
Feburary 2nd at 3pm

on Nashville's CW58 -
so makes plans to catch it!!

Last Man on Earth episode in the can!

Wrapped up shooting all the segments for the next Creature Feature episode this past Saturday evening. The next show is "The Last Man on Earth."




Now begins the editing phase. I will drop the raw footage off this week to my editor, and then all the pieces will come together. Did a few things different this episode, trying different lighting/sound techniques and equipment, as well as working with some new crew members. Look forward to seeing how it all turns out!

This episode airs Saturday, December 29th @ 7:00pm, on Nashville's CW58.
